i believe if we want 2 improve in english, we may start by fixing each other's mistake..
i mean, it's a part n parcel in learning. im not a teacher, i make mistakes too..
hope everyone who join this group would not offend or/and be offended when 'the time' come..
well, is it agreeable by fellow members?

firstly, before we start our practice, make sure don't ever use the short words...
example >> your became ur...
i also make the such mistake...i don't know why...hihi

I think using short words are not a big issue..we should improve more on our grammar..
like me...i'm still confusing abt tenses :'(

it's important to use to use the right word...
it is because, it will become out habit to use it in formal work.

Its depends…normally when comes to formal situation people have tendency to review their work properly to avoind any mistake but for normal conversation like chatting with friends or with other colleagues, for me, we still can used short form as long as we are able to convey the message :)

Actually, we are here to learn english, not to learn 'rojak' english.

i agree..but using short form does not mean the bahasa become "rojak".
As long as the reader able to get the message, then i think should be ok :)
If i'm not wrong, in english we also can use short form i.e.
I'll = I will
I'd = I would
They're = they are
and so on..

In my opinion, there are a lot more of rooms of improvement that need to take care of i.e. grammar improvement, increase of vacabulary and etc...

i have created a new topic regarding grammar, but it seems that nobody interested. I really hope that that really want to imrove their english can share their grammar with me...so that we can improve together..

what i'm trying to say is, its ok to use short form as long as we can convey the message. e.g. if we use "luv" is there any other meaning other than love?

the words luv, ur, coz, of course anyone can understand that...
but, if we use that words, indirectly, we make the mistakes...
this is English class and when we are in the class, try to avoid the incorrect word...
